“Fortunately I got a dream role in `Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi’. And recently the dance show `Jhalak Dikhla Ja’ broke all records and gave me a chance to hone my dancing skills. As I am looking for a break in Bollywood my dancing skills will definitely help me to make an impact on the big screen. Since I have essayed the role of Jassi I will be more comfortable playing a character artiste in Hindi films. I have received some offers from Bollywood and am going through some of the scripts” adds Mona. Revealing that she will soon host a reality show on television Mona says: “The show’s name is `Extreme Makevover’ in which victims of acid attacks whose faces have got disfigured would be given plastic surgery by a panel of doctors. ” About her experience so far playing the role of a radio jockey on Big 92.

Beautifully crafted tunes which soar over countless velvet seats are often enough to make the brave break into song. Stories of redemption and death and clam bakes and Nazis put to music and paraded through the Christmas TV schedules help lift the spirits and light the cooling flames of our December hearts. Hijacked by camp and marketed with shame there should be no disgrace in purchasing the new Sound f Music soundtrack or indeed any of the newly re-released musical gems which are commonly tainted with phlegmy irony. As usual Q Magazine got it wrong when earlier this year they compiled a list of the 50 records they reckon “we’re too embarrassed to admit we own. ” EL’s 1976 single Livin’ Thing topped a chart including More Than A Feeling by Boston (brilliant) S Club 7’s Don’t Stop Movin’ (fabulous) and 10cc’s I’m Not In Love… Be ashamed instead of hoarding flaccid non-music like Café Del Mar or Hed Kandi compilations. Be embarrassed about your brief foray into DJing and its accompanying illustrated mix-tapes. Hang your head at a carefully choreographed Saturday night dance routine if you must. Why: And the award for ?Movie I thought would suck but turned out K? goes to?this. At first glance The Break-Up looks like another mindless romantic comedy but ends up being a surprisingly decent. This scene sums up what the movie does best: tension. As the dinner drags on and each family just weighs on the others nerves Vaughn and Aniston slowly and subtly start digging at one another. Pretty surprising given an actor best known for being one of the friends on.
