Inside looks like organised chaos but the sound coming out has the place jumping. ABC-TV’s Message Stick program is filming youngsters rapping and at the middle of it is Luke ‘Sullivan who looks like a professor-hippie mix with wild hair and beard amid computers and leads and mics. "They really have dealt with the politics and obstacles and knockers to make it happen. "We’re sitting talking in the Inala elders centre as a dance troupe called Little Ladeez are polishing their traditional Stylin’ Up routine. Uncle Kevin’s old eyes are shining with delight. "This is why we do it. To give kids some hope. "Then his face softens and the smile disappears briefly.
