In answer to a lousy stammering video say a real YouTuber doesn’t just comment “You idiot I could do that blindfolded!” He blindfolds himself gets out his video-capable Canon PowerShot and uploads the results. Wedding planner had plenty of good ideas for her own big day
San Diego Union Tribune – May 27, 2007
Their ceremony was at Calvary Lutheran Church in Solana Beach. AN ADVANTAGE: Kristi is an elementary school counselor for the San Marcos Unified School District. During summer break and other holiday weeks she's a wedding planner. She is used to planning large weddings for 300 people and more so coordinating her 250-guest wedding came pretty easily to her. She knew exactly which vendors would match the kind of wedding she was coordinating for herself and Scott who works in the commercial real estate finance industry. Among those vendors were Adrianne Smith Floral Design Dreams Do Come True (for the linens) and SoCal Ice Productions. FAVR TREE: The favor tree is an idea Kristi came up with for another wedding she planned… He said he typically will bring out his signature move when he's in the middle of a dance circle. The couple admits to having some friends who don't mind being the center of attention especially when it comes to busting a move. There were quite a few dance contests – one that involved the “running man” – during the reception. At one moment the mood struck him right and Scott dropped down into the splits. Needless to say this elicited a few “ooohs and ahhs!” Kristi performed her signature move which Scott calls “the booty shake. ”THE WEDDING TRAILER: Kristi's sister-in-law's boyfriend Joe Knee makes movie trailers in Los Angeles and also has a business called Holly'wedd. Kristi and Scott asked him to make a wedding trailer for their day.

she wouldn’t answer. She knew what it meant. They had to come to her to break the news. Not long after that I called Tim Frank the father of another soldier killed in action so courteous even on the worst day of his life. He had to keep putting me on hold to take incoming calls about the arrangements but wouldn’t let me leave the phone and then he made me promise to call his ex-wife because he said her views were important too and she had recently changed phone numbers so no one had called her.

It’s great if you have a lot to say about the bride and groom but save it for another day. A reception is a party and people want to eat drink and dance — which they can’t do when you’re hogging the mike. McElwain says most toasts should be no more than three minutes. That’s roughly 500 words though it’s best to practice and time yourself. Ideally the toast is short enough for the speaker to remember it cold or with the help of bullet points on index cards. Pages of prepared text will elicit groans from the audience especially from wedding planners who say long toasts are their nightmare… The best man "had just enough humor and just enough relationship stuff" Marino says. "You really felt like you were getting to know the groom through his eyes. "Experts say it’s personal details that make or break a toast not whether your delivery is the most brilliant. Be sure to nod to both the bride and the groom — it’s a toast to their marriage after all. And of course "remember to actually do the toast part" Marino says. "People get so into their little speech they forget to raise a glass or sip the champagne. "So raise that glass! To the happy couple! And to a toast well done! (Now Mom will you please hand me back my vodka tonic?).
