Manila Standard Today – Aug 23, 2007
Vhong Navarro has awed everyone with his chameleon like ease in changing appearances. He can switch his looks but audiences recognize the comedian easily. A member of the dance group Streetboys Vhong realized he could do more than just pop his shoulders wiggle his hips and break dance. His manager Chito Roño saw this innate ability to make people laugh so he helped him get minor roles in movies and television. With the right mix of subtlety and exaggeration with impeccable timing people couldn’t miss Vhong in any act and soon became one of the country’s top comedians. He was first coined as the “Jim Carrey of the Philippines” but eventually established his own identity in the industry. Joining Vhong in the TV version of Lastikman are some of television’s biggest stars like Iya Villania Roxanne Guinoo Jake Cuenca Danilo Barrios Archie Alemanya John Estrada Ian Veneracion Empress Schuck Enchong Dee Georgia rtega Carmi Martin Zsa Zsa Padilla Cherrie Gil and Dawn Zulueta.

You Dance Funny has everyone laughing
abc.net.au – Aug 23, 2007
Staged in a boxing ring – the cast bounce off the ropes as they challenge the audience to their own unique brand of dance which includes doing the ‘crocodile’ or getting ‘down like a monkey’ (sound effects and all!). nce the volunteers have finished their ‘audition’ to join the Inferno family – other ‘audience members’ suddenly appear to challenge for the coveted prize. Including break dancing an Irish jig and an amazing hula hoop act – it’s hard for the ‘judges’ (including the amazing tap dancing grandmother) to select their winner. While a couple of the jokes grate (the judges comment theme gets tiresome very quickly) overall You Dance Funny is highly entertaining – and if you don’t mind dancing ridiculously in front of a large crowd – you may walk away with a pretty good prize.

com-as-a-vlog leeches. Super annoying guys don’t hit on mein bars assuming I know what the hell they’re talking about when they use termslike “the burn” “the man” and “off the grid. Making the e-mail rounds a few weeks ago — and sent to me by more than one high-profile local sex educator — was a snarky list of ways to “enjoy Burning Man at home. ” The list included many observations about the experience like:Before eating any food drop it in a sandbox and lick a battery. Stack all your fans in one corner of the living room. Put on your most fabulous outfit… Buy a new set of expensive camping gear. Get so drunk you can’t recognize your own house. Walk slowly around the block for five hours. soul-baring conversation with a drag nun in platforms a crocodile and Bugs Bunny.
