She explained that women who take her classes are “from a whole range of ages” and can be “fun-loving playful women. Dolby explained that the business would "give women in the community something fun to do… A few girls stand with their hands on their hips as they watch Dolby 22 years old spin around the pole with such grace and ease she would look like a Russian ballerina — if it weren’t for the Pussycat Dolls song playing from the stereo in the corner of the room. But after a bit of stretching and chatting the girls twirl themselves around the poles hair breezing and toes pointed. “People are kind of self-conscious a bit so you have to break out” she said. “By the end of the class people transform. ” Far from the stereotype Although Dolby has had only two years of pole dancing experience it seems she can do virtually every move possible. Originally from Beverly Hills Mich. she was never an exotic dancer.
Yao scores 30 as Rockets hold down Sonics | Chron.com – Houston…
Houston Chronicle – Jan 21, 2008
Battier was a half-step behind but not fooled. He poked the ball loose sent Rafer Alston on his way to a fast-break layup and then turned to Yao Ming and Bonzi Wells for a chorus of “c’mons” that mimicked the plea that had to be running through the minds of most of the 15264 in Toyota Center on Monday afternoon. For the second time in less than a week a team came into Toyota Center 0-for-2008 and gave the Rockets fits. The Sonics stuck to the Rockets like tag-along little brothers who the Rockets wrongly assumed would give up and go home. Instead they hung around — with plenty of help — until the Rockets closed out a 96-89 win in the final minutes. “The good part is we won but we know we have to do better” said Yao who had 30 points 17 rebounds and three blocked shots… Yao made two free throws to regain the six-point lead before the Rockets closed it out. Szczerbiak missed a 3-pointer before Yao swatted away Jeff Green’s attempt at a follow and McGrady stuffed Kurt Thomas’. But unlike Saturday’s happy dance off the court the Rockets’ latest close win left them more disappointed than thrilled. “We don’t finish the game” Adelman said. “You have to continue to guard. You have to get good shots. You have to be tough enough to finish plays.
