CNN International – Feb 10, 2008
TUCKER: He would do anything he could to bring in extra money. He would dance for change for the soldiers. Before he was the hardest working man in show business he was the hardest working kid in Augusta. LEMON: He also would have trouble in school. His shabby clothes were a source of shame. SHARPTON: He was kicked out of school because he couldn’t dress… SHARPTON: He would be five or six pounds a show. And I would tell him and the audience lost one or two pounds just watching. LEMON: But it wasn’t until 1965 that he would break through to a white audience with a song that put him on top. WESLEY: James Brown was telling people that he’s going to do something different from now on. Papa has got a brand new bag. Brand new bag was a brand new brand of music. BOBBIT: He felt a new beat.

At that point who could argue that they were best? This in my mind was foregone conclusion until 1991. I was still living in Connecticut then so of course I am biased. But the Big East was 9 teams then 7 made the dance. Duke upsets the best college bball team I have ever seen (UNLV) that year. I still believe it was fixed but that is for another time. I am from Ct so I am used to priviledged white guys named Reese and Brent and having a IV after their name… Then I start believing if Uconn cant win now can they EVER win?1997 Let’s move on ( That year have officially been erased from my memory)1998 Great year for me I graduate Uconn will win it all and my girlfriend is my future wife. I will rememeber this year forever!Let’s just say I did graduate in 1998. Not only did we lose in the Elite eight AGAIN it was against an ACC team and North Carolina!!!!! I think there are more UNC fans in South arolina than North. One of those years SC was pretty good but lost a 2-15 game to Coppin State ( meac champs and rival of my alma mater South carolina State) They upset us also inn the MEC tourney that year I believe. So now I am REALLY hating the ACC. Kentucky wins in all for the second time in three years. I get hassled all year I had been quoted as southern boys couldn’t hoop need to stick to football and were inbred hicks.

Tajik Government Cracks Down on Wedding Size
NPR – Feb 10, 2008
Guests dance with their hands in the air and a drummer and clarinetist lead the way as the couple slowly walks to their new home. Maulida Mustafobekova watches and nods in approval. She’s part of a government commission that monitors weddings and fines the hosts as much as $300 if they break the rules. Mustafobekova says she has to keep an eye on how many guests attend and how much plov is prepared. Before she says it was considered shameful not to invite the entire village and the weddings used to go on for days. But this wedding is over within a matter of minutes. Before leaving an uncle wishes the newlyweds a beautiful life together — and many many children.

He uses the same resources here. The humor is broad but confident. Only occasionally do the performers break into actual dance – though when they do it’s terrific – but every move they make has been choreographed by a master. • Through March 15 at Circle Theatre 230 W.
