An excerpt from her Saturday blog post: “Last night Fabian (Sanchez) Cheryl (Burke) Christian (de la Fuente) Tony (Dovolani) Kristi (Yamaguchi) and her husband (Bret Hedican) and I went to Us magazine’s party celebrating Hollywood’s hot bodies. We took over a booth in the VIP room and had a grand old time all of us in the DWTS gang. … It was really like hanging with your best high school friends at the prom! Ha!”Meanwhile Cheryl Kristi and I are actually featured in this week’s Us as having hot bodies. I really couldn’t fathom being considered ‘hot’ but I’ll own it.

Yes this is dancing on sand on peaks and in caverns in a 90-minute compendium of highlights from Wolf Trap’s "Face of America" commissioning project which began in 2000. That multimedia effort included high-definition films of site-specific dance performances at… Streb with her trademark Mr. Magoo glasses and coarsely chopped red hair speaks movingly about the connection she feels to those pioneering airmen. "They had to break all those rules" she says. "I feel very much akin to that way of thinking about invention: the belief in the impossible or the un-done thing. "Varone’s suite of dances at Kentucky’s Mammoth Cave is the most fruitful of the collaborations — and he also has the best musical accompaniment in the brokenhearted vocals of Patty Loveless. Varone’s interest in filmmaking shows: His relaxed but emotionally pungent choreography — like Appalachian folk dance tinged with postmodern anxiety — translates best to the screen. “How I find my way to an audience” he says “is to make them feel.

It wasn’t scored but served as a pre-cursor to next week where all the remaining couples will do two full dances. Would Kristi continue her reign atop the leader board? Would Jason or Mario knock her off? Those answers and a rundown of all the performances after the break. The club’s inaugural event co-chaired by George and Mary Nell Franklin will be a western-themed dinner and dance May 3 at the Armadillo Ballroom where there’s plenty of room for everyone. Guests can dance to the music of nine-time Grammy award-winning Asleep at the Wheel and the bluegrass sounds of Cadillac Sky. A feast and live and silent auction items will round out the evening. “This is the most exciting and innovative civic event to be held in this community in my lifetime” George Franklin said. It also emerged that Mr Berlusconi had entertained the Russian president with a troupe of Rome dancing girls known as “Il Bagaglino” – sadly minus their stunning star Aida Yespica a personal favourite of the Italian media tycoon… Besides being a gymnast she is also an MP and model.
