Page’s latest work Mathinna which opens in Melbourne on Friday before touring interstate is another example of a powerful tale – shared with him by members of Tasmania’s indigenous communities – adapted for the stage. It is the story of a young Aboriginal woman Mathinna who was born on Flinders Island in Bass Strait circa 1835… They put on plays in their back yard. quot;We had 12 kids and no money for anyone to go to ballet school or drama schoolquot; he says. quot;We used to wreck the Hills hoist literally break it to make it like a ride at the royal show. Something for my 3 kids to dance too. Oh well I had to settle for the tv version. Can#8217;t wait to see them in concert later this year in Texas… I believe 80 million albums is a approximately 80 million more than you have sold. Give the guys a break. It takes balls to make a come back and do a damn good job considering the conditions timing and physicaly and vocal transformations over the years. And correct me if I am wrong but if you have the time to count CDs in your local bargain store Jesus H Christ what a fucking sad life you must live lol. I followed the solo careers and enjoyed it all but there is nothing like seeing them together again! I am so looking forward to hearing the new CD and seeing them in concert! I haven#8217;t been this excited about anything in along time.

The competition at Muldoonrsquo;s began more than 10 years ago. Maoilei selects the girls who compete based on their ability and each girl is entered in a competition only once. Maoilei said there will be former ldquo;Darlingsrdquo; in the audience Sunday watching their younger sisters perform. This is also the first year Maoileirsquo;s daughter Nianh 9 will dance. Shersquo;s performing the ldquo;Job of Journeyworkrdquo; a very old dance performed in a hard shoe that Nianh particularly likes. Brother Connor 5 may be part of a group number Maoilei said will be performed by all the girls and some former students in the audience when the judges take a break to decide the winner. There will be a winner and she will receive a trophy but Kaplan decided from the first competition that there would be no first second or third place.
