“They have learnt new skills the primary school children have learnt new skills and the university students have used it as an example for an arts in the community project. Amber Johnson 15 from Ottery St Mary has been a pupil at the PRU since September. She was responsible for creating a comedy robot dance. “It’s been so good. I’ve loved it and have felt respected for the first time” she said. “The children picked up what I showed them really quickly and it’s made me feel so mature. “In school I would never have stood in front of a load of people doing drama and music but at the Grenville the teachers treat you like adults so you feel like you can do anything.

As a kid Animo learned from his brother who was an MC that rapped in their home using his own recording devices to make beats and sounds. Break dancing graffiti DJ’ing and MC’ing is essential for using the media to educate the people. “B-boy student [or break dancing] Barnaby Lee uses the art of break-dancing to “form a group for individuals who are interested in break-dancing around campus. ” Lee believes his mission is to have a place to practice and learn how to break-dance. When Lee first tried break-dancing here on campus with no music near the old cafeteria study lounge teachers and security said he couldn’t break-dance in the area. The area is used for quiet time for students who wish to study and not for break-dancing. “To this Lee said “If a student was tap or ballet dancing would you have said anything to them about it?” Lee said he was quietly studying his dance.

Pi Sigma Epsilon a professional sales marketing and management fraternity on Ball State’s campus is having the concert for the community and its members Emily Muzzy president of Phi Sigma Epsilon said. Full Circle Arts Co-Op is a Muncie-based non-profit organization that has taken on a number of projects including largely planning and managing the Muncie MusicFest in 2007 and 2008. Brian Kelly a senior accounting major and Phi Sigma Epsilon member who has been working with promotions for the concert said anyone who enjoys music should attend.

He said his family bought the building in 1972 soon after the club had traded in relatively tame revues — a topless woman swimming in an oversized champagne glass — for all-nude dancing. A former dancer Nancy Deedrick said she performed the Strip’s first completely naked dance at the Body Shop in the 1970s. At the time she said it was such a big deal that Johnny Carson invited her on his television show. She turned him down for fear of embarrassing her family she said. “Every famous stripper in the world has worked there” said Deedrick now retired and living in Tennessee. Look the guy gets asked to guest DJ in Europe and has had parties in Brazil too!!! Check out his website to see who he’s talking about. The people here are there for one reason: To Groove and make Merry!!! There ain’t a whole lot of posing here (Thank God) People really like the music sing with the music and dance!!!! Boy can some of them really dance!! There’s a dancer crowd at his parties that dedicate a good deal of their time working on dance steps. They can do the Kid and Play switch to Afro beat and even Break dance within seconds. Anyway how much we talking about spending here? Glad you asked. The upstairs lounge is free on Wednesdays. To dance and party downstairs with Rich will only cost you $10. It’ll be the best 10 you’ll spend on a party though.
