Entertainment Weekly
Apple founder Steve Wozniak held back from attempting to break his own world record for Worst Worm while his partner Karina held back admirably — at least 85% — from demonstrating the art of on-camera scowling. The other eliminee Playmate Holly Madison didn’t hold back from doing anything but I’m not sure she really ever needs to. Both stars wanted to stay but a strong inevitability factor as well as a very decent results show (yay ABC!) softened the blow for us viewers. And so did Holly’s spot-on estimation of her chances in the competition (presented during a filler segment): ”I’m not a very good dancer so I don’t think it works. ” Wozzie Bear bowed out without protest as well.

Their routine was entertaining and extremely athletic described by Bruno as “truly truly eye-poping fan!” (r was that “eye-popping fun”?) He and Carrie Ann gave it a 10; fussy Len just a 9. “Reality star” Holly Madison couldn’t catch a break. She said she’d injured her ribs last week and even hid in the bathroom to cry. But when she went to the doctor he said she’d just pulled a muscle and could continue to dance. When she got on a stool at the start of her routine it seemed that she might be pulling a Tucker Carlson but she soon slipped off and began tangoing stiffly. Unfortunately her best spins were when Dmitry Chaplin was twirling her around on the stool. Bruno advised her to “drop the Barbie bring out the vixen.

Reeling from the recession the city’s tourism bureau this spring sent a text message to 55000 college kids — “Skip Cabo come to Palm Springs” — and students are once again flocking to the ritzy desert oasis better known for its golf courses and gated retirement communities. Although the nearest beach is more than two hours away the pitch appealed to students who said they were spooked by reports of drug violence in Mexico a perennial spring break favorite. “I’d rather be safe” said Marissa Klei whose spring break tour company switched to Palm Springs from San Felipe in Baja California at the last minute. “We weren’t at the beach and there weren’t as many people but it was still chill” said Klei a sophomore at California Polytechnic State University San Luis bispo. “We hung out at the pool there were lots of good people and the weather was so nice. “That’s the kind of buzz Palm Springs hopes will spread among college students as it warily wades back into the spring break tourism niche for the first time in nearly 20 years. “Palm Springs practically invented spring break.

"The biggest "rule" if you can call it that is "No judgment. " You don’t do it to others; others don’t do it to you. If you want to do the Monkey across the room no one says a word. If you want to break into a choreographed routine your moves are appreciated but unremarked upon. "It’s really fun seeing other people have fun. This is all about feeling free and not caring what anybody thinks" Myers said. ut at clubs and other judgmental places "the people standing on the sidelines scowling are just envious" Hunt said.
