js’>Sachoom is currently South Korea's number one style of performance for dance and music that does not have dialogue. nly through dances are the actors able to express their story. Viewers can enjoy diverse and sensational dance moves rooted in tango hip-hop modern break dance and even jazz. Divided into nine sections each part shows distinctive styles. The show intends to break down the invisible line between actors and their viewers as typical audiences are usually on their feet dancing by the end of the show. Sachoom debuted in 2004 and has been on-stage more than 700 times in the last three and a half years. It's popularity led to the opening of its own theatre last May.

The guys grab the girls with both hands and swing them high. It’s a classic move one that every little girl comes by naturally. The girls break out into big smiles every time. Herron says he’s glad the dance didn’t include any major technical dance moves. There are no big leaps or fancy turns. But he says the dance studio sometimes felt “more like a weight room” as they practiced lifting their partners. Todd Gainey who danced with his 6-year-old daughter Amber says swinging his pint-sized partner around definitely helped him get in shape.
