SLC police use Taser break up crowded party at bakery

They found more than 110 people in the basement of a bakery which had been used in the past as an unlicensed dance hall for rave parties said Salt Lake City Detective Dennis McGowan. Some of the people at the Sunday morning party were minors either drinking or serving alcohol police said. The two officers who initially responded called for backup and eventually were joined by more than 10 officers. Dancing Dan given a break

They ripped up a ticket issued to a man who loves nothing more than to stand on street corners and dance. Two weeks ago the man known as Dancing Dan was slapped with a more than 400 dollar stunting ticket. The RCMP say they received complaints ranging from drivers being distracted by the dancing to some saying they were concerned Dan was suffering a medical attack. But the Mounties pulled the ticket after meeting with him last week. Dan does have to follow some conditions though.
