The dance floor is even larger than Moon’s and everything about it just reeked MTV “Spring Break. ” The place looked and felt like many clubs in Acapulco or Cancun Mexico. ”Dance classes are typically easy to learn because the choreography is broken down into simple movements. But before you let go your inner dancer know that what you see on TV are practiced athletes who train for five to seven hours a day every day. The average gym goer won’t look like them after a dance class or two. Comana helps break down the average calories burned in a variety of dance styles. A 160-pound person doing a rhythmic dance like the waltz foxtrot or tango will burn approximately 130 calories in 30 minutes. For the advanced forms of dance like the salsa or meringue you’ll see the calorie burn double shedding 250 calories in 30 minutes which is comparable to doing a light jog on the treadmill for 30 minutes.
